Healing & Deliverance Ministry

Sr. Charlotte Struckoff, healing@stlcharismatic.org 314-427-7786
The purpose of this ministry is to provide healing and deliverance in Jesus' Name for individuals who have spiritual, psychological, emotional and physical difficulties and bondages, and who seek personal freedom.
The beneficiaries of this ministry desire to live Jesus' promise of abundant life and have decided to act righteously, but are experiencing blockages or bondages. They may feel unable to overcome negativity, fear, sorrow, anxiety, grief, resentment, habitual sin and compulsions, even though their minds understand that their behavior is not right or healthy. In these persistent trials, evil spirits may be at work. Our Father...deliver us from evil.
The Catholic Renewal Center e-mails prayer requests to hundreds of intercessors. Often prayer over the phone is available to those who seek it. 314-427-7786
The Healing & Deliverance prayer teams are a group of Catholic Christians (priests, deacons, religious and laity) committed to fulfilling Jesus' commission. "He summoned the Twelve and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick." (Lk. 9:1-2) The prayer teams strive to exercise this commission in an atmosphere of love and openness to the Holy Spirit. All have prepared themselves by study and prayer for this ministry. Confidentiality is a high priority and helps to provide a safe environment for those seeking healing and/or deliverance. Many report that they experience peace at the end of an appointment.
The Healing & Deliverance Ministry functions in union with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis, MO in cooperation with the Catholic Renewal Center. It is primarily funded by the Jonah Foundation, a non-profit organization. "The Jonah Foundation funds ministries rooted in the Charismatic Renewal of the Roman Catholic that foster an understanding and expression of the experience of Pentecost through prayer, teaching and special service projects." (From The Jonah Foundation Mission Statement.)

Jonah Prayer Teams
Chris Slattery, chrisslattery@archstl.org In the CRC office on Mondays and Tuesdays, 314-427-7786
Jonah teams are parish-based, parish-oriented and parish- initiated ministries trained by the Archdiocesan Coordinator, under the direction of the Healing and Deliverance Office. The purpose of Jonah Teams is to offer opportunity after weekend Masses for team prayer with anyone who wishes it. The times and spaces of the prayer are decided at the parish.
Do you ever sense that God wants to reach others through your praying in a small team? Jonah Teams consist of 2-3 trained parishioners who pray with individuals who ask or seek it. More and more parishes have Jonah Teams after Masses because many people need the individual human and divine touch.
