Prophetic words received at Pentecost Day of Renewal - May 30, 2009
1 John 4:16-19: "We have come to know and believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in Him. In this is love brought to perfection among us, that we have confidence on the day of judgment because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet perfect in love. We love because He first loved us." Luke 8:23-25: "So they set sail, and while they were sailing, He fell asleep. A squall blew over the lake, and they were taking in water and were in danger. They came and woke Him saying, 'Master, master, we are perishing!' He awakened, rebuked the wind and the waves, and they subsided and there was a calm. Then He asked them, 'Where is your faith?' But they were filled with awe and amazed and said to one another, 'Who then is this, who commands even the winds and the sea, and they obey Him?'" (Jeff B)
"Are you here, my dear ones, to hear me? I see your hearts and I see that you long to hear truth, to know truth, to speak truth. Hold always his desire for TRUTH in your hearts. Because of your zeal to be turthtellers, know that I will guard your hearts in truth. Many have left the truth of my Word and have sought after softer, easier ways that appeal to the emotions, that which feels good, the flesh. Do not envy them-stay steadfast in Me; your faithfulness to Me will allow Me to use you to draw them; back to Me. The god of this world has deceived their hearts and snatched them away. But know that I am drawing them back. They will weary of the ways of darkness. Pray for them, love them, be there for them as I draw them back. Your reward will be great in heaven." Deacon Dennis Chitwood shared a vision he had of being in a canoe on a river flowing easily with the grace of God, then a flash flood came and a wall of water, and Jesus was on a surfboard. They were pushed out into the ocean, away from the shore on a surfboard. God said, "You will learn to surf. Catch the wave and learn to ride it. Through trial and error, you will learn. When you see a large wave coming, catch that one. The ocean is the Holy Spirit and we live in the ocean. The waves are the power of the Holy Spirit. When you recognize the waves, turn around, and ride the waves of the Holy Spirit. They are short, but always coming. Be patient, but know that the Holy Spirit is also coming in waves."
"Red is for Pentecost. Red is for the blood I shed; red is also for love. Red is for the love I've had for you from all eternity. I long for your love; so much do I yearn for YOUR love that I willingly gave my all just because I love you. My people, I send My Spirit, My love for you! Receive My Spirit...Now!" Before Mass: (whole word that was cut for time sake) "Participate with Me, My loving children, participate in the 'Good News,' the Gospel, of which I am the Author. Oh, yes, you would say, 'But Matthew, Mark, Luke and John wrote those gospels.' Don't you see, dear ones? Just as I spoke those words into their hearts through the Spirit, so also I am able to speak words into your hearts, if only you will yield to Me, your hearts seeking Me, desiring only that which concerns Me. You say, 'What concerns you, Lord, tell me!' Souls, dear hearts, saving souls is what concerns Me. Let the things of earth grow strangely dim as I pour out My grace upon you. Humble yourselves before Me, and My grace will abound to you. Being filled with My Spirit, you will speak My words of life and light and truth to mankind. Sinners will change their ways, captives will be set free from their prisons, souls will be awakened from their slumber. And then, My friends, freed from their bondages, they in turn, will be My vessels to set others free.
